Bar School Mantra

DO IT ONCE. DO IT RIGHT. NEVER DO IT AGAIN.

Aussi entendu:

BE ONE WITH THE BAR.

From the dephts

Hello again!
It took me a while to find the opportunity to write a post on my favorite blog, but Bar school can do that to you. It's great, it's amazing and it's a lot of energy! It's like a double shot of espresso when you're used to very light coffee with tons of milk.
Talk about coffee! I have a piece of information for my future colleagues, for whom it seems espresso is the new way of life once we pass the Bar. I'm humbly going to point out that I've been drinking the cheap black coffee for years now, thanks to a fabulous novel by John Grisham that inspired me to follow suite in true Italian fashion:
Rule of thumb: no milk in your coffee after 10am. Early morning, go for a  cappuccino, your stomach can still handle it. Around 10h you can switch to higher gear and go for a macchiato (bit of foam) and then straight black espresso (simple ou double). One, or two, or three.
The Coffee Geek goes to great lenghts to explain that: http://coffeegeek.com/guides/frothingguide/recipes.

Do it the right way. Just do it. See you at the coffee house, before going to Court!
